About newslinkiry
A course built around the live production gallery
newslinkiry is a UK training provider focused on live production decks and control rooms: multi-camera switching, live broadcasting techniques, real-time video operation and the professional management of television and streaming productions.
Our mission
Live television leaves no room for guesswork. Our mission is to give students the confidence to sit at a vision mixer, follow a director and keep a show on air when something unexpected happens.
We teach in a working gallery environment, with professional kit, realistic running orders and instructors who still work on live shows. Every student gets plenty of time at the desk, and every exercise is designed to mirror a real production day.
What we stand for
Real-time discipline
Live television does not allow a second take, so we train accuracy, timing and calm under pressure.
Team-first operation
A gallery works because everyone listens. We teach clear communication between director, mixer and crew.
Industry standards
Safe working practice, documentation and fault reporting are part of every session, not an afterthought.
